Exploration of Xunzi’s Ecological Philosophy

Abstract:From the discussion on the ecological Philosophy of Confucianism, it is analyzed that Xunzi’s philosophy is not the middle theory of human beings. Xunzi’s “human evil” reverses the ecological responsibility ethical view, and his distinction between heaven and man shows equal understanding and awe, while the “Traditionality” field reveals an ecological design that combines the time and human affairs. Same as the word “philosophy”, “ecologies” also originated from ancient Greek, meaning that it refers to home or surrounding environment. With the development of thinking history, the word “ecology” gradually evolves into the preservation state of all living things and the meaning of the inseparable interaction between organisms and the environment. “Ecology” has also been studied by the initial study of a concept of biological individuals, and has been interspersed and integrated with other subjects, resulting in many subjects such as ecological philosophy, ecological aesthetics, ecological ethics, and ecological economy. At this day, in the daily life, all wonderful, harmonious and healthy things can be described as “ecology”. 1. Confucian philosophy includes ecology philosophy

 

Can Confucian philosophy include ecology philosophy or may it be possible to develop ecology philosophy?
